Our Heritage
Founded in 1956 by Arthur Blurberry in a modest workshop off Savile Row, the house began with a single garment: a trench coat cut from water-resistant gabardine, stitched entirely by hand. That coat hangs in our Mayfair flagship to this day.
Three generations later, we remain family-owned and independently minded. Every piece carries the signature check — a pattern first woven in 1962, inspired by the tartans Arthur encountered on a trip to the Scottish Highlands.
